Speaker wire types and gauges?

!4 gauge even 12 gauge wire is OK to pass distance within 15 feet. Do not parallel speakers. If they are 4 ohms each,parallel four become 1 ohm, that shall over load the amplifier even create distortion output. To connect speaker in series ,choose speaker that has the same impedance and same wattage . But total impedance should not exit 16 ohms before connect to amplifier. Use series and parallel both ways to match with amplifier output.
