How come so many people writing books whom have the aim of becoming published, ask for help on basic matters?

Haha I've been wanting to say something like what you've written in this post since I started going through the B&A threads. It really annoys me because the story and everything in it is supposed to come from you. How can you call something your own if people did some of it for you? And what their asking isn't even that hard either. I pick character names out in my sleep lol. Besides even if someone gave me a name to use I think I purposefully wouldn't use it just because I didn't think of it lol.
