Any suggestion on songs to sing for a solo when the person singing isnt very good and isnt very confident?

I have to do a solo in singing soon and i have no idea what to do, i was thinking something musical theatre so i can gain more marks for characterisation. Im not a very good singing and im not that confident, really need help!!!
