What made you buy the car you have?

The 1987 Mazda RX-7 GXL Fc3s i drove was because my friends brother had one. Her brother used to drive me home late at night. I lived about only 3 miles away not a fun walk so one night i needed a ride home but he was being extra nice and let me drive it home. I was freaking out driving it because i didn't want to make him mad at all by hurting his car in any way. But to my surprise he says at a stop sign "Floor it" Stunned i hit the gas and i was in love with it when i heard it pedal to the floor. The sound of a Twin Rotor going all the way up past 8,000 rpm in the dead of night sent me down the path i am at today. I didn't sleep that night i knew i was going to get that car no matter what. So what was your reason?
