Why does it feel like my guts itch?

When i relax i feel my spine shift?

bad back here, when my work day is over i try to lay on the back. but with this hunch i have "lowest rib area" i'm unable to do so. after awhile i relax enought to where i feel my spine shift, scary feeling. afterwards it takes me a few minutes to get up do to pinched nerves i guess, but when i findly get to my feet my posture is way better. i know i need to go see someone about my back but is this bad what i'm doing?

Does it bother you that all people who take narcotic pain meds seem to be vilified?

I use narcotic pain meds to treat the pain from herniated discs in my neck from an auto accident (not my fault) 5 yrs ago. I have numbness in my arm and have a horrible time sleeping unless I take a muscle relaxer, because of the extreme stiffness I get in the muscles between my shoulder blades. The stiffness causes horrible headaches that can be incapacitating. I don't like to take them and although prescribed more, only try to take them when I can't function with the level of pain anymore. The problem is that with the authorities jumping on the anti-pain med bandwagon, finding a "real" doctor who will prescribe them is very difficult. If a tylenol or advil helped I certainly wouldn't waste the money going to a doctor, or put myself through the pain of getting numbing injections directly into the back of my neck. I last went to a board certified anesthesiologist last year when I had medical coverage. I signed an agreement not to go and doctor shop for more pain meds, and I have followed this. People look at you and think you are a druggie if they find out you take narcotics. A lot of doctors won't prescribe at all due to liability. I personally think it is BS. My pain is real, but because of some bad apples, I have to jump through hoops to get the meds. Same thing with cold medicine from the pharmacist. I'm out of luck if I want to use bath salts in my bath water. There are those people out there that will find a negative use for just about anything out there. There was a professor who changed a reciprocating saw into a sex toy. Maybe now we need to ban those tools, or require ID's every time a carpenter needs to buy it. Maybe we should license it. An urn of ashes was stolen in a robbery because the idiots thought it was coke. Maybe cremation should be banned too. I think that pain is not understood by those that don't live with it every day. I think attention needs to be brought to this. People who require narcotics to feel normal because of a medical condition are being discriminated against. Sooner or later, no doctor will prescribe the meds. What do you think? Are you tired of the gov't pushing real doctors to not write the Rx's because of the local junkie?? There will always be an unscrupulous doctor out there that will write a script for 5000 pills a month. Go after those doctors and the pill mills. To me it is like the gov't not going after the doctor that commit Medicare fraud, but going after all doctors. I think that needs to stop.

depends on what you plan on doing speed wise mazda has to be #1 stock it's amazing and has tons of upgrades while cross fire does not. DO NOT get the avenger dodge are good cars but depending on what the salvage title is for you could have tons of problems i would check out why it's salvage before thinking of buying if it's for flood, axle, or frame problems i would not even think about it. i personally think fords are douche bag cars so i would not get mustang plus they way a ton with a bit of girly engine in 2005 just saying eclipse are not bad decent made cars lots of upgrades but Mazda is so much better in so many ways also i know i'll probably get a ton of crap for this but srt-4 are amazing cars they are 4 door 4-cylinder so good on gas but crazy quick plus you can get a stage 3 srt-4 and it would be pushing 300 whsp and 315 wtrq and smoke all these cars you have listed plus still get about 30 mpg depending on how you drive it but if just from this list Mazda any day

Well when I woke up at about 6 this morning I had a really painful sharp pain under my left breast like in the top of my ribs. It hurt when I moved and inhaled. I went to the hospital and they said it sounded like a possible blood clot so they did an EKG on me and it was normal. Then they wanted to draw blood to check for a blood clot but I refused cause im terrified of bad news. My question is, if I did have a blood clot would I be feeling the affects? My friend thats a CNA said that if I did have a blood clot my blood pressure would be high and I'd be feeling ill. You should actually consider purchasing a 460 card instead of a 465, since the 460 is much faster and the 465 are almost out of market and don't have much user base in case you run into problems. However, if it must be absolutely be between those two, I would rather choose the 6850 because its faster and has a large user base on the card. Also, a 6850 scales alot better when you crossfire.

Hdmi out from laptop to receiver to tv. not showing video. audio fine. need help?

Problem connecting my laptop to my tv via my yamaha rx-v467 receiver. I am connecting my laptop to my tv VIA my yamaha receiver. The hdmi cable goes from the laptop to the receiver and then from the receiver to my TV (exact same way my dvd player is set up). Audo goes through fine. video doesn't go through. If i turn my tv off and then on again, i see the vid for half a second and then it goes away. When i plug the hdmi cable directly from the laptop to the tv it works fine. has anyone else experienced this? any solutions? i am running a resolution of 1920x1080 60hz on my laptop and my tv excepts 1080p (so no problem there).

Can i pursue a "patient Negligence" claim on my doctor?

I recently broke my left clavicle( third time now), so i knew it was broke. i made the appointment for my Doctor, to get a referral to an orthopedic doctor. while waiting for that appointment i went to my Chiropractors office to ice and relax. He was kind enough to X-ray it for me. and the bone was obviously broken and the outer bone has plainly dropped in angle and rotated. My Chiropractor told me it looked displaced( gap between the bone ends.) So the day of my Orthopedic appointment i had already bought a sling and arrived at the office. i was put in the room and told the assistant what had happened and handed her the Xray which she put on the projector. A few minutes later the Dr walks in and immediately sits next to me and asks " Well, what do you think we should do?" i told him i didn't know, but had been told it was displaced and since im VERY active, i figured it might need a pin or plate to help it heal. Especially when i went back to my chiropractor and told him and he IMMEDIATELY told me to go get a second opinion. he said he had been talking to his wife who is also a doctor and they both agreed that 90% of the time when a break happens dead center of a bone, that they put in at least a pin to help stabilize it.. It's hard to say how long someone would stay because everyone's recovery time can vary. I think anything more than 3 inches can be deadly so they might just want to keep an eye on him and make sure that he is on the proper healing cycle. Also, they might want to hold him to ask him questions about why he was stabbed and if he is in danger again when he gets out. If his lung would've been stabbed then it would have deflated and he would have a very difficult time breathing (1 lung) and they'd have to plug it ASAP. Basically I am really skinny, you can see my ribs etc and my arms + legs look like twigs. Summer has arrived and I'm afraid to wear T-shirts because my arms are so thin and I'm embarrassed. Fell on neck, did i bruise my rib?

I've heard there is a way to convert vyvanse (ADHD medicine) into adderall, how would one do that?

I have vyvanse (prescribed) but it doesn't seem to work. If I remember correctly, someone told me there is some type of protein one could find in a health store (such as GNC) that converts vyvanse back into adderall RX through some chemical process.(??) The difference between vyvanse and adderall is that after adderall is ingested the effects are more immediate and therefore, more noticeable for me. On the other hand, vyvanse is extended release, being released later through digestion and lasting/peaking with milder effects for longer/later in the day. I want to convert vyvanse into adderall for the purpose that adderall is the only ADHD med i have taken that works consistently, because the gradual peak of focus doesn't cut it for me. I need to go hard or go home, basically. I would not abuse this drug so don't even start. But even the adderall extended release (XR- not to be confused with RX, regular adderall) doesn't cut it. Feeling the effects immediately tends to give me the drive from the start of the day to get my priorities in check. SIDENOTE: Vyvanse does help me concentrate, but I still feel the effects of my ADHD as so: I can focus, but only on things that interest me, otherwise I can't even start to concentrate on schoolwork. With adderall RX I have been able to focus on anything I must focus on. The only reason I have not been prescribed adderall is because they usuallyprescribe the extended release version (adderall XR) or vyvanse to young adults for fear of abuse. I know adderall RX works, however, because i have taken it from a friend for finals in the past, taking reasonable doses. Also, with extended release, i have trouble sleeping at night, as the lasting effects keep me awake. If anyone can help me turn my vyvanse capsules back into the adderall RX form, that would be awesome!! I'm a bright kid, but my ADHD has been a factor in many of my shortcomings. I hope to one day work as a chemist, help me start my first self-motivated lab! :)

How does the doctor know how my baby is laying or even if he's ok? 33 weeks?

So far everything has been good. My blood pressure is fine, my fundus is measuring right on schedule..ect I'm not worried because I feel him move every day and I know what's normal. I have not had an ultrasound since I was 20 weeks (they didn't tell me how he was laying) and they said they will not do another unless I have complications. They have not externally checked my stomach or pushed down, touched it to feel the baby so how will they know if he's in a bad position? How will they estimate what he weighs? I think he's facing with his back up because I feel two round har spots, one under right ribs and one down diagonal on my left. Never heard of diagonal baby??? I feel mostly rolls and squirms rather than kicks but when I do, I feel them high and low so I don't know if he's in position. I am 32 weeks pregnant now. I have been getting really bad pains around mt rib cage and I am constipated. I can feel the baby moving but I am scared that because the pains are really bad sometimes and I am scared to force myself to go toilet because I am scared I am might be adding pressure on the baby. Stomach problems, Lactose Intolerant?

About two weeks ago I ate a banana and had a really bad stomach ache, in the center right below my rib cage, not knowing it was the banana that caused it, I ate another the next day and the same thing happened. I stopped eating bananas but it seemed like every time I ate I had really bad stomach cramps and pains. I started to think I had an ulcer, but very unlikely. I began eliminating foods from my diet so I started with dairy. Since I stopped eating dairy I have not had anymore stomach problems. Recently I ate a taco and forgot to take the cheese off and just that little bit of cheese caused my stomach to go crazy and experienced a lot of pain for a few hours. I may be lactose intolerant but why did this happen so suddenly? I have always been able to eat and drink dairy.

By replacing high fat foods with low fat ones and lots of exercise. For example instead of drinking milk drink almond milk. I prefer almond breeze in vanilla. It has more calcium and vitamin D than milk does but less fat. Also cutting out snack bars out of your diet and replace them with fruit and veggies. Pretty much if you ditch all packaged processed foods besides the ones you absolutely need then you will lose fat.

I was stretching my back yesterday with my hands placed upon my lower back and noticed a bump on my left side similar in hardness to a rib, but protuberant to the 12th rib (lowest one). I was freaking out thinking this was a mass of some sort on my kidneys or ribs, my fiancee felt nothing unusual and said I was imagining thing, and that what he felt was my rib. Upgrading WiFi Antenna Gain?

I added a pair of Linksys 7db antennas to an access point inside my one-level house but I don't see any increase in signal level at my router. I've also tried it by replacing the antennas on my router instead with no increase seen at the other end. I'm using the signal level viewer built into the DD-WRT firmware to check the signal. Eventually I'd like to increase TX and RX range (omnidirectionaly) at another facility without having to crank up the transmit power on both ends - thus the "improved" antennas. I'm on several RX's from my family physician, a couple of which are controlled - when I went in the other day to pick up an RX, which I do routinely, the nurse called me in the back and said they were giving all patients a drug test (urine) to see whats in their system. I guess the idea being (1) to look for things that are Not prescribed, and (2) to look for things that Are prescribed but Not present in your system. I am just curious - for any of you medical professionals or legal experts out there - is this ethical and legal for a physician to do surprise random drug testing on his patients? RIB MUSCLESEXTREEMLY SORE after playing volleyball?

Could I have ovarian cancer and not know?

I am almost 19 years old and I have had bad bladder infections and pain in my pelvis for about 4 months now and I kept telling to doctor and they didn't see anything abnormal in my urine so they kept telling me that it was just a bladder infection and "rib cage pain". So, about a month and a half ago I had pain so immensely bad in my right side of my pelvis and when I would have a bowel movement it was ten times worse. HOW LONG IS TO LONG FOR A QUARTER TO STAY INSIDE A 2 YEAR OLD?

Dominant Golden Retriever. Help Me please!?

I have a 15 month old male GR. He has NOT been neutered yet, but that is in the works. Over the last several months i have noticed his behavior changing and it seems to be getting worse. Well around 6 this morning i woke up and had really sharp pain under my left breast in the top of the rib. It hurt when I inhaled or moved, so i went to the ER. They said it sounded like it possibly could be a blood clot which can lead to heart attack, so they gave me an EKG and that was normal. What is goin on with me?

Ok so this might be a little weird...but I have started to notice (and have for awhile just didn't really think anything of it) that my stomach is getting hard. But it's not hard all the time but it's starting to stay hard? (to me it's confusing) Like you can push (not hard) on it and feel something in there...but at other times you can't feel anything. You can really feel something when you push closer to the top of my stomach, like something round..and it hurts when you lightly push on it. I can't lay on my stomach without getting an aching pain. My back is really starting to hurt and I've been having problems with my ribs (it's only a couple in particular that feel like they keep trying to break or spasm or something). But besides the constant gas, I feel fine. Should I be worried?

I've been doing more writing lately than I had been previously (due to actually having acquired some inspiration from somewhere, not sure where - but hey, we don't question these things ^^*). Serious Mazda RX-8 Question? Loss of Power above 5k RPM?

I have an 04 Mazda RX-8 that I just purchased about 2 weeks ago. The vehicle has a new engine installed by mazda with only 20k miles as well as a brand new clutch. The last couple days I have noticed a loss of power past 4500 rpms like something is pulling it back. When I hit my power band at around 5k the vehicle loses power and starts to jerk. I don't have this problem in 1st and second gear. Only 3rd to 6th. Please help me figure out what's going on.. I only use the highest quality non-ethonol gasoline and I check and fill the oil every other fillup.

I know it doesn't make much sence but after I took my nightly 15mg temazepam for sleep it takes about a half hour to kick in. Longer vagina flap and bumps/slight discoloration on flap?

One of my flaps is slightly longer than my normal flap. The longer flap also looks 'dirty' kind of brown/purple coloration on the very edge of the flap. It's also ribbed/bumpy. I like to write too, and it's normal to have mini ideas. All you need is something that inspires you. Maybe you could look at the things you wrote and see if there is a reoccurring pattern (for example, mine is usually children trying to make a difference/starting a society). Possibly brainstorm for a while. You could also try putting all the thoughts together, although that might not work as well. Sometimes you just have to force yourself to sit down and write, just find your favorite story. After you get past a certain distance (a few chapters) you have this desppprate want to finish it. If you want to encourage yourself even more try going somewhere with absolutely no distractions (i started my biggest story at a vacation home in the mountains with no TV, books, or phone, although you could probably get away with using that) music also sometimes helps.

Since the pain went away and I was extremely gassy (and still are for some reason) do you think the pain was linked to gas? Does it sound like the pain was due to a blood clot?? I'm also 21.

Sharp pain under right rib cage?!!!?

I am 15 and two nights ago I started having a dull sharp pain under my right shoulder blade which lasted through the day until last night where the pain moved to under my right rib cage and the pain has increased alot I'm in serious pain and it hurts the worst when I breathe in. The pain sort of feels like a bubble trapped under my rib cage. I have smoked before but only a few times but both my parents smoke so I'm a second-hand smoker. Yes I agree. I wrote my Media Studies essay on this subject. In old films and other types of media and even advertising women were portrayed as serving the man's needs be that domestically or sexually. As the three waves of feminism came and passed slowly the media changed, in women's favour. Women started to be portrayed as Intelligent, gathered individuals who often hold the fort. In turn men became the ones who gave the comedy. Often they are portrayed as idiotic and unintelligent and unsure of themselves. They are the ones who are often at fault and so on. I don't think women are shown in that poor of a light anymore, men are.

I was stretching my back yesterday with my hands placed upon my lower back and noticed a bump on my left side similar in hardness to a rib, but protuberant to the 12th rib (lowest one). It felt connected to the under end of my 12th rib but a tad thicker and bit more a of a bulge closer to my spine. I was freaking out thinking this was a mass of some sort on my kidneys or ribs, my fiancee felt nothing unusual and said I was imagining thing, and that what he felt was my rib. I calmed down and felt the right side identical to where I placed my hand on the left side and, even tho not AS bulgy (only slightly less) there was a bulge in the exact same spot, on the right side. I am wondering if this is normal, if I should be worried, and if you on yourself can feel something similar on your back, 12th rib.

Is Brooklyn New York a nice place to live-how does it compare with living in other parts of New York City?

I have lived in Seattle and Portland, Oregon. Seattle is really nice but I just got tired of it--been there done that. Portland is quite nice too. Winter time is a drag here but not as bad as back east. At any rate, is Brooklyn a nice place to live or is it a downtrodden, crime ridden place with steel bars on windows, newspapers blowing around in the streets, etc. Is it safe--a good place for kids, etc?
